Registered Dietitian vs Nutritionist

While there are amazing Nutritionists, we found that there are no governing boards or minimum requirements to become a Nutritionist. You can take a test online and be certified as a Nutritionist.

Registered Dietitians, are regulated healthcare professionals licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional problems. To become a Registered Dietitian (RD) you must meet all the academic and professional requirements, which are:

*  Complete a minimum of a bachelor’s degree
*  Complete an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program 

* Pass a national examination

* Continue professional educational requirements

With our Registered Dietitian, it will be substantially easier for you to turn your healthy living goals into a reality.

Cooking Sessions

Learning to cook your own healthy meals will set you free from the diet cycle of precooked meals and frozen dinners. The only food that you will pull from your freezer will be your own delicious left-overs.  We know that to make cooking part of your lifestyle it needs to be fun, easy, quick and tasty.

KHW turned up the heat up when we hired our incredible Chef to help grow your culinary skills. From cocktails by the pool to full Thanksgiving Dinners, you will guided via hands-on instruction.  For the 1st time you will know exactly what you are eating, how to prepare it and be complete control of what you are putting into your body.

Mind Fitness Specialist

You have to incorporate your mind if you truly wish to own healthy living.  We needed a therapist to help offer an understanding as to why you do what you do, break down your habits and patterns in order to create a new approach to healthy living.

If you do not have your mind right, it does not matter what you are trying to accomplish, you will not be able to reach your goals.

Playing and Moving

Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor/Outdoor Recreation Expert

Most people associate getting fit with hard work and sweat, but it can be fun and simple too. Our Outdoor Recreation Expert is also a Certified Personal Trainer with NASM and an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor. KH&F wants to help you see the world differently. The land around us is a huge playground so we seek to move and play in every way that we can. When you learn how to view your environment with a vision of good health, the planet will open doors of opportunity to experience fitness as a wonderful place of adventure.

Meditation Exploration

Take a deep breath. Say, “I am healthy. I am happy.” Now, exhale and repeat, “I am healthy. I am happy.” Do this 3 times and make sure to smile while doing it. Just 5 seconds is all it took to alter your state of mind. If you truly wish to be healthy and happy, you must have balance. From physical activities to breathing exercises, both are necessary. “Meditation Exploration” is the art of learning all modalities of meditation. Meditation is hugely underutilized in the health community and it is a vital aspect to overall health. Guided tours, affirmations and mantras, different cultures approaches, 30 second traffic light breathing and more will “Explored” offering you peace of mind.
